She received a massive bunch of flowers and a $150 beauty voucher after being nominated by colleagues for “all her hard work”.
“We all love Taylor’s reliability and commitment, especially when it comes to living and breathing our customer commitments, demonstrated through her top customer service,” Taylor’s Manager Donna Shearman says.
“She always goes above and beyond to help our customers and suppliers when they come through to head office, and promptly deals with their enquiries and directs them to the right people.
“Everyone in head office speaks very highly of Taylor, and it shows in her passion and commitment to her work,” Shearman says.
Bignall has been with Truckstops for two-and-a-half years, looking after customers from the head office reception in Palmerston North.
“As a young female in a male dominated industry that was completely new to working in the world of transport, Truckstops has opened me to an array of opportunity,” Bignall says.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed being that first point of contact for some of our customers and big suppliers.
“It is a rewarding feeling greeting someone with a warm welcome and having them leave with a smile on their face.
“I am very appreciative that my colleagues have recognised my work, and this only pushes me to work harder,” she says.
Taylor’s talents don’t end there having also modeled Mack Truck gear for the Truckstops merchandise catalogue.
